A MESSAGE FOLLOWING THE LAUNCH

The importance and strength of human exchange

Following his attendance at the launch, H.E. Hidetoshi Ogawa reflected on the significance of Anouchka’s enduring connection with Japan. He highlighted the foundation’s name, inspired by a Japanese friend, as a meaningful reminder of the importance and strength of human exchange.

A REFLECTION FROM OUR FOUNDER

“A moment that means a great deal to me personally and institutionally.”

Anouchka Tuluka KusakiFounder

Anouchka expressed her gratitude to Ambassador Ogawa for his words following the launch. Her relationship with Japan began through education and opportunities as a Congolese scholarship student of JICA and MEXT, and continued through friendships, values and human connections across continents.

For her, Hiroko Maple Foundation carries that journey in its name: a bridge between people, cultures and countries, united by a commitment to mental health, neurodiversity and autism inclusion.
